I took so many pictures at Tracy's wedding (and there were so many better ones on facebook taken by the professional photographer) but I just need to set the stage for how absolutely adorable this wedding was - it seriously could have been in a bridal magazine and I think that my dear friend, Tracy needs to make a career change and become a wedding/event planner. So let me start off the pictures in this post with the decor:
The lovely invitations that the bride sewed herself. Love the red accents on the Tiffany blue.

Adorable streamers with bells in lieu of throwing rice that the bride also made.

And the lovely bridal party - love the red shoes! |
And the nine of us high school friends. |
With the husbands minus Brandon and Julie's hubby, Danny - we look like polygamous wives without them :( |
My partner in singing, Lauren. |
Heather, Laura, & Bekah, soaking up the sun |
And all the couples in attendance to celebrate:
Derrick & Jamie - to be married June 30, 2012 |
Betsy & Paul - married November 6, 2010 and expecting baby girl any day now... |
Laura & Lee - married September 7, 2007 and parents to little Kyle born September 2010. |
Justin & Melanie - married September 10, 2011. |
Brian & Heather - married July 10, 2009 |
And like I said before, Julie's husband Danny was not able to attend like Brandon. So we will just have to post a picture of me and Julie since we both went stag.
And of course, the couple of honor:
Now, for the reception - let's set the stage for that as well.
Seating assignment boards, also hand made by the bride. Impressed yet? |
Instead of a guest book sign in, friends & family wrote notes on pieces of fabric that Tracy is going to sew into a quilt - AMAZING! |
Instead of just numbering the tables, Tracy made little signs with names of baseball parks since her husband is a big fan. |
Along with table runners she sewed herself... |
And did you notice the darling wedding favors? Little lobster lollipops! She tied everything into her theme so perfectly!! |
She even printed out little menus...they made my mouth water. |
Caprese salad anyone? |
Cupcakes and cake! I was a little surprised that Tracy didn't make her own cake and cupcakes because yeah, she does that on the side. But I think her baker was on Sweet Genius and her cupcakes did not disappoint. |
This cute little banner with the wedding date - sewn by the bride. |
Her little sweet heart table had a banner too (as well as the sign-in/gift table). |
I think she made this little & sign too. Phew - I'm tired just typing about all the things she did. |
And while I was visiting there, I had to take a picture of the special delicousness the bride and groom got - Yum! |
Oh yeah - and take a picture of this lovely embellishment the bride had added to her dress. |
And of course, get a picture with the bride myself. |
Oh yeah, and the bride & groom. |
Oh, and you want to see the bling? Well there it is. Miles did a good job |
And more couple shots at the reception:
I got to sit next to Laura and Julie which was awesome to catch up. I might have pulled a little mean girl on Lee when he tried to sit next to me and I coarsely told him I would rather sit next to Laura. |
Paul & Betsy... |
And Jamie & Derrick rounded out our little table |
But this other table was definitely a fun one to visit. |
Justin & Melanie... |
And Brian & Heather...Bekah was sitting there too but she must have gone off visiting while I was there. |
Some of my favorite things about this wedding:
The location - waterfront weddings are so gorgeous.
Tracy's dress - so stunning, especially with the added embellishment.
The salad - I'm a sucker for tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.
The cupcakes - and I don't even like cake that much!
Blue mason jars for vases.
Groomsmen in suits - I'm still a little bit sad that we did tuxes instead of suits for our wedding.
Happy Wedding Tracy & Miles!!! |
