Dad's Visit - August 11-15

Well, I'm only 8 months behind in my blogging. Not that much catching up to do...

Emily already posted about this, well, 8 months ago on her own blog HERE. It all seems so long ago. I'm not sure what is wrong with my pictures. They usually aren't so grainy and blurry.

I picked my dad up from the airport and was in charge of dinner for the family - pulled pork, corn on the cob, and cole slaw. Emily and her family joined us so that they could bring Dad back to their house that evening.

After dinner, it was pretty much summer Christmas with all the goodies my mom sent with my dad from Japan.

The girls got clothes and swimsuits.

Adorable hats (and Lucy really needed a big sun hat).

Ballet shoes for Lucy!

Grey got a hat too! Totes adorbs!!

Lucy was very excited about her fancy coloring book.

Emily contributed the dessert - strawberry pie!

I pretty much only took pictures of that one day and the our excursion to Thanksgiving Point for a discount day at their little petting zoo. We waited FOREVER just so the girls could ride on these little ponies.

Emily's account goes much more in detail of our time and has much better pictures but I thought I should add mine to the mix. Looking forward to seeing Dad again this summer!

It seems that Lucy loved that hat. Hope it still fit this year...
It's amazing that Olive rode on a pony all by herself. Of course, the fearless Lucy could ride on a bigger horse.

I hardly remember this, it was so long ago! Rowe was so chunky.

I love Lucy's wide-brimmed hat. It's always so fun to get mom and dad's gifts!

Just a little over a month before I visit again. I wonder what goodies Baba has gotten this year?
