New Hair

It was time for a new haircut.

INSPIRATION:
Carey Mulligan. Did you know that she was in Pride and Prejudice? She played Kitty. Wasn't a fan of that hair but I think that she is so darling in real life. I haven't seen her in anything else although I'm really wanting to see An Education and Never Let Me Go.

This actually happened a couple of weeks ago and my hair has already grown so much.

BEFORE:
I rarely wear my hair down. If I take the time to curl it with a curling iron, it looks pretty decent. Above, it just has weird waves from having it in a ponytail which is how I have my hair 90% of the time:
Then I get all these weird, wispy flyaway hairs around my face.

AFTER:
It didn't really end up looking like my inspiration but that has more to do with my hair - it's thick, coarse, and wiry and if it is too short, it puffs out like a chia pet. I need to look for some more Asian inspiration next time. But it's fun - just higher maintenance. I have to style it, otherwise, it looks like crap. Thankfully, with some Bumble & Bumble styling creme, it doesn't take long at all. But no more rolling out of bed. It's still long enough to be able to do a few fun different things - wear a headband, put some barrettes in. I'm still dying to go with a pixie cut but not sure if that can work for my hair...

Look very nice and different!!!
I think your side hair is much longer than the model hair. but you still look nice and springy.

The Mulligan haircut is really cute, but also because it's light and has multiple colors in it. But yours turned our really cute too!

It's really cute. I love it! When you were showing your inspiration picture I was thinking, "Her hair is totally different than Annie's." So I knew it would be a different outcome, but super cute nonetheless. I don't even know who that girl is. I feel so out of the loop. You look really cute with short hair. Didn't you kind of go through a "Pixie stage" after you shaved your head? I would think you would know what it would be like. I've toyed with the idea myself but can never quite bring myself to do it. YIKES! :)

I just wish my hair would grow as fast as yours does!
